Step 1 :: Understanding your business requirements

We will visit your business and using requirements gathering techniques, define the following: -
- Symptoms :: your business pains, difficulties and troubles.
- Issues :: The underlying issues that cause the symptoms.
- Outcomes :: well defined goals that will solve the issues.
- Resources :: what does the business possess to achieve a solution (budget, timescales, etc.,)?
- Solutions :: our recommended approach to achieving the outcomes.
- Effects :: what will occur after the solution is implemented?
The big advantage to using this approach is that your business will have the opportunity to think about the key issues without any pre-conceptions of solutions or limitations. This means you'll be less attached to your personal needs and more likely to understand what the business needs!
Step 2 :: Signing off the definition of requirements
the small print, but it's important!
Once all the stakeholders have agreed to the business requirements we'll provide you with the definition of requirements (the delivarable associated with the first stage of the project). You are free to use this as you see fit and there is no commitment for you to use Ayrmer Software to produce the solution.
What is important is that you now have your business requirements, along with a well defined solution!
Step 3 :: Software development
our bit!
Once the definition of requirements is signed off and you wish to pursue the solution arrived at during the previous stages, we'll start the software development. We'll need your active involvement throughout the process, to ensure we deliver the requirements and ask you to nominate a project manager who is our first point of contact within your business.
Step 4 :: User acceptable testing
the important bit!
This is perhaps the second most important stage for your business (only second to the requirements) and is essential you understand the resources required to ensure the solution meets your needs. Don't underestimate the amount of effort required at this stage, as a successful solution depends on your business committing resources to it.
Step 5 :: Implementation
the exciting bit!
We'll provide a launch plan that encompasses all the necessary details (including all the technical aspects) to ensure the roll-out will be as smooth as possible. Depending on the nature of the system, we recommend on site training or seminars to ensure your users will be able to get the most from your investment!
Step 6 :: On going support
working together!
We'll provide ongoing support for your system when and how you require.
