In order to reach this level of understanding we ask you to undertake a series of workshops (fixed fee) for capturing business requirements. In return we will provide you with a detailed specification that includes fixed costs and time-scales for the development work. We knew we would need a bespoke database for Devon Artsculture, as the monitoring involved for our funders is quite detailed, with very specific requirements. We approached Ayrmer Software amongst other providers to tender, and Ayrmer Software really stood out against the competition as actually being interested in what we were doing, and willing to take the time to find out more about our project.
Being able to sit down with Ayrmer Software and talk through our needs was really valuable, and Charlie was able to interpret our requests into this database system that is really responsive to our needs. There was always someone at Ayrmer Software to offer support as we went through the initial start-up stages with the system, although it's an intuitive database so the additional work has really only been on tweaking and creating additions rather than needing support in using it.
Now that we've been using the database for a couple of months, I can honestly say it's worth its weight in gold. The amount of time saved, as we no longer have to compile new reports constantly and search around trying to retrieve data from various spreadsheets, is incredible. I don't know what we'd do without it.
Ayrmer Software were a pleasure to work with, we proposed what we needed to manage our admissions processes and they were immediately able to come up with ideas. We had a face-to-face meeting which gave the opportunity to meet and thrash out ideas with different options. Ayrmer Software, within a week, resolved for a proposed system which was both practical and very simple and easy to use with added flexibility options for future growth of the system. We were able to test the system extensively, asking questions were out of this process Ayrmer Software would 'tweak' for very minor incremental improvements, only when we were 100% satisfied did they load this to a 'live' server.
