Fun in School Holidays

Fun in School Holidays (FiSH) are an extremely successful business that provide after school clubs across South Devon and were struggling to managing the administration as they increased the number of clubs. The business was using a paper based system that required parents to fill in their details on a printed application form before being able to book their children onto an after school club. Parents weren't keen to do this and it created huge amounts of administration to collate the registrations and bookings.

The primary driver for the project was the ability for the parents to be able register and book their children onto sessions on-line and reduce the administration within the business.
Solution
Ayrmer Software developed a solution that allowed FiSH to create calendars that could be published, allowing parents to book their children onto various activities. The administrative user interface provides all the information required to manage the clubs, including a number of reports that are used within the day to day running.
Parents access the after school club booking system via the main FiSH website and are required to either register or log in, before being able to access their dashboard that provides an overview of their details and previous bookings.
Parents can book their children on using the intuitive booking form that presents each session in a calendar format.

Once they have selected any sessions they wish to book they can pay for them using vouchers, cash, credit or debit cards and receive confirmation via email.

The system has been up and running for almost a year and has been a great success with both FiSH and the parents as it has simplified the entire booking process.
