College Francais Bilingue de Londres provide an after school service, called Garderie, and various clubs to their students. The management of these clubs was undertaken by the club manager, using excel spreadsheets, payment by cheque and other manual tasks. These were time consuming and difficult to manager as the clubs become more and more popular.

Outcomes

College Francais Bilingue de Londres wanted a system that would automate the booking procedure, enabling parents to book online, via a dedicated, secure website. The system had to be able to manage both the after school club - the garderie - as well as the clubs offered to students as part of their extended curriculum. The clubs are published at the beginning of each term; children and parents have two weeks to book their chosen clubs, at which stage they are booked for the entire term. The school also use a system called FACTOS - the equivalent of SIMS - and it was critical to integrate with the student information management system.

Solution

Ayrmer Software developed a customised version of our after schools booking system that enable parents to book both types of clubs (garderie and clubs) via an online portal, with a host of additional features.

the system was launched for the autumn term of 2013 and has now been run successfully for two scholastic years, so we thought it was about time we asked the club manager and the rest of the team what they thought of their system and are delighted to be able to publish the following testimonial received earlier this month.

Ayrmer developed an online booking and payment system for our after-school Clubs and Childcare and we were very happy with the services they provided. Our previous booking and payment systems were time consuming (excel spreadsheets, payment by cheque, etc) for us and for our students' parents. We then worked together to determine how the finished system would work and they offered various options which was very helpful. During the project they were freely available and supportive of our needs and when the new system was launched Ayrmer Software were quick to respond to any fine tuning we requested. Our new custom-built system significantly reduced our administrative hours and costs and it is greatly appreciated by our students' parents. Ayrmer Software continue to be very supportive and their online technical support system is very helpful for requesting extra system functions or error solving.
